Eureka! blueberry toast breakfast

This toast is easy to make and is packed with nutritional benefits, offering you a great start to your morning. 
I don't often make toast for breakfast, but when the temperature drops, there's nothing better than warm, hearty bread smothered in almond butter to start your day.  When I'm making this toast, I love Eureka! Organic Breads "Seeds the Day" (or anything packed with seeds or nuts) because of it's texture and taste. 

This toast is made complete with 2 tablespoons of natural almond butter, a tablespoon of maca powder (here is Navitas Naturals Organic Maca Powder), pumpkin seeds and blueberries.

I cut it up so that the powder doesn't end up all over the place, but if you want to make it a little easier to enjoy, mix the maca into the almond butter, then spread over toast. 

Health Benefits:
Maca has a positive effect on hormone balance, energy levels, and is a health booster.  The superfood improves cognitive function, osteoporosis (has a higher calcium level than milk) and can reduce blood pressure. It also naturally boosts libido!
